Just 300m from The Rock of Cashel, Cashel Folk Village is a multi-award winning museum, containing an incredible, vast collection of original memorabilia relating to many different periods of Irish history. Visitors are taken on a fascinating journey to discover the real stories behind key events in Irish history. Highlights include the Easter Rising and War of Independence museum, the Great Irish Famine workhouse, the Original Tinkers Wagon, the Penal Chapel and a vast collection of original artefacts dating back 10,000 years.
