The new Tipperary Museum of Hidden History Opens to the Public following joint investment of €500,000 from Fáilte Ireland and Tipperary County Council
Visitors will come face to face with Cromwell and have the chance to see the Carrick on Suir Gold Coin Hoard, There are a number of exhibitions showcasing during the year. Children and adults alike will enjoy the many surprising historical elements to the museum. There is a lot of interesting facts regarding the culture of Tipperary, These stories are told in an engaging way where any member of the family will enjoy learning about the rich heritage of Tipperary.
The Tipperary Museum of Hidden History was officially reopened today (Thursday 24th October 2019), just in time for Halloween. Tipperary Museum of Hidden History wishes to enable visitors to experience the cultural richness and pride of Tipperary County. It works to ensure the museum is widely known and enjoyed by the community and its visitors.
