Ballyhooley Short Loop East

Starting at the Castle Tavern, walk toward Rathcormac, turning left at the Avondhu Way way-marker. You will cross a metal bridge over a stream, taking you into a lovely wood which parallels the Blackwater River, heading east toward Fermoy. The walk winds its way through the woods until, eventually, it exits at the main road. Walk is partically on public roads that will have traffic on them. Walkers advised to be cautious.
