Munster Vales has garnered over €3.5 million worth of media coverage since its formation, 81 small to medium businesses as well as groups, organisations and communities have been profiled on a national and international level.
Throughout 2019, We have been working with Pr partner in securing key influencers within travel media circles to experience Munster Vales, Most recently, we have received positive feedback from Sarah Slattery ‘The Travel Expert’., Mark Tighe of ‘The Sunday Times’ amd Gavin Caffrey of Irish Independent, each of these fam trips were created with a specific target market, Families, Active Adventure and Couples retreat. We have generated 6 national press releases since May with coverage in Irish Mail, The Sunday Times, The Irish News, Irish Daily Star, Woman’s Way and Irish Independent with more planned for the remaining of the season.
35 representatives from print, broadcast and online channels across the world including America and Europe amd publications like National Geographic, Outsider, Norwegian Airlines, Austrian National Newspaper, QTravel, descended on Munster Vales and sampled the hidden gems that what we have to offer, each one of whom was blown away by firstly the warm welcome and genuine people that they encountered, secondly by the dramatic landscape of mountains, rivers, valleys, iconic heritage sites and the volume of things to do, places to see, walks to enjoy and good food and drinks to sample.
It is important to note that all of the businesses featured to date offer a very high standard of service which is essential in building a reputation as a high quality holiday destination.

It’s official – Ireland is opening up. The reconfigured roadmap announced by the government now has June 29th
as the day when hotels, restaurants, hostels, caravan parks, galleries, museums and bars that operate as restaurants can all reopen. The Irish tourist industry has breathed a sigh of relief, and then taken another deep breath as it goes about what will surely be a long road to recovery.
