Castletownroche Annesgrove Gardens Loop

Park at the Grotto on the Fermoy side of Castletownroche, just before the mill. Take the road to your right leading to Kildorrery and, after 1km, take the left fork. Follow this road, which parallels the Awbeg river and meanders northward with a splendid view of the Ballyhoura Mountains in the distance. The road then enters a low-lying glen. Keep left at the next fork and continue on to Ballywalter Crossroads, 5km from Castletownroche and 17km from Mallow. Turn left and after 500m, at the fork in the road, keep left. Continue across the bridge over the Awbeg river, keeping Anne’s Grove Gardens on your left.
