Barron’s is one of a handful of bakery’s licenced to produce the famous Waterford Blaa which was brought to Waterford by the French Huguenots in the 1600s and has become a stable food in Waterford ever since.

Pre-booked personal tours of the bakery are available where one can see the rare brick ovens and breath in the smell and the atmosphere of a traditional working bakery.

Barron’s bread can be purchased in a selection of surrounding supermarkets and shops in Waterford and Co. Cork and every Thursday at the local Dungarvan Farmers Market.
