This period Georgian family home offers boutique-style accommodation just a few minutes from the medieval walled town of Fethard. Clonacody House was the birthplace in 1805 of the famous explorer Vice Admiral Sir Henry Kellet, whose ship ‘The Resolute’ provided the oak which was used to make twin desks for the US president and Queen Victoria in 1879. His beautifully refurbished former home now offers visitors 5 bedrooms with bathrooms, a grand drawing & dining room, lawns, terrace gardens and a walled garden with panoramic views of the Comeragh and Slievenamon mountains.
