Hotel Minella

Nestled between the Comeragh Mountains and the River Suir in Clonmel, you'll find Hotel Minella. The hotel has a long history with the Quaker family, the Malcolmsoms, whom built the original Georgian house in 1863. In 1961, Minella was purchased by the late Jack and Babs Nallen. It stands as a family-run business today, managed by John and Elizabeth Nallen.

Hotel Minella Restaurant offers a more formal but relaxed dining experience, with delicious lunch, dinner and Sunday lunch menu options. Using local and seasonal ingredients, Hotel Minella promotes the very best of Irish produce, working with Tipperary food producers.

Club Minella boasts an award-winning 20m deck-level swimming pool and separate children's pool area. Ideal for serious swimmers or family fun! Facilities include a jacuzzi, Swedish sauna, and Turkish steam room. The outdoor spa terrace is home to the amazing cedar hot tub.

The Minella name is also recognised in the world of horse racing. John is actively involved in the training and breeding of race horses, including the recent win with Rachel Blackmore and Minella Times at the Grand National 2021.
